Kokum Agal
This home-made (Gharguti) Kokum agal is the pure extract of Kokum fruit which is sour in taste. It is a must have in every konkani house-hold. The liquid form makes it easy to use in veggies and curries. It is also used to prepare Solkadhi, a local appetizing drink made by adding coconut milk. This drink helps to stay hydrated and gives relief especially during scorching summers.
A spoonful of agal is enough to add tang to veggie or sherbet.
This natural extract has medicinal properties and acts as a coolant.
Ingredients: Pure Kokum fruit Juice, Salt as natural preservative.
